When was the last time you you hiked up a mountain, ran down a trail, smelled the forest floor after a rain, watched a porpoise ride waves, or bodysurfed one yourself?! I know you like your Peleton, and some movement is certainly better than none- but the best movement is play in semi-wild nature!
Much of modern culture and urban living, has removed us from more “natural habitats”. Staring at screens, living in boxes inside of boxes, drinking dead water and breathing polluted air has many of us feeling like caged animals, ready to pluck our own feathers out or grind our tusks down. Don’t fret, it’s not you. If you’re feeling sick, it’s because the CULTURE IS SICK!
How do we remedy this?
Intentional time in wild-nature grounds us back down into our body and offers a natural way to regulate our nervous system while reintroducing us to wonder & awe. The mountains, forests and oceans are calling us home. Nature is a cathedral, and we were wired for worship, it’s time to get OUTSIDE!
